This antique French “Porte-miroir” - mirror locket - is a one-of-a-kind treasure. Converted from a chatelaine, this substantial pendant is carved from exquisite mother of pearl. It features a door that slides open to reveal an antique mirror with an incredible patina. The mother of pearl is thick and has flashes of white, cream, and pink, as well as a beautiful luster. The mirror inside is backed with silver, which has oxidized over the years in a pattern that is completely unique. A stunning statement pendant in pristine antique condition.
